UI Health Care specialist to lead online chat Nov. 13
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Dennis C. Harper, Ph.D., a child psychologist and a professor
of pediatrics and rehabilitation studies with University of Iowa Health Care,
will lead an hour-long, online question-and-answer discussion on chronic health
concerns in children with developmental disorders with a nationwide audience
from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13.
The online chat will be hosted by AmericasDoctor.com and can be accessed

home page under "Upcoming Events."
After receiving his Ph.D. from the UI, Harper completed his postdoctoral
training in the UI department of pediatrics, Division of Psychology. He joined
the staff of University Hospital School in 1972. Harper is certified by the
American Board of Professional Psychology. His clinical interests focus on
children with developmental and physical disorders and how they affect their
social and psychological functioning.
