IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa Foundation has reassigned several key staff members in its continuing efforts to maximize private support for all academic and non-academic areas of the UI.

Michael New, UI Foundation president, said, "These dedicated staff members are among the foundation's most loyal and productive employees. When the university's increasing need for advancement services provides opportunities for staff growth, we're delighted to be able to promote from within."

Following are the foundation staff members and their reassignments:

-- Laurie E. Comstock, who was Assistant to the President/Administrative Associate, has accepted a position as Director, Administrative Support.

-- Helen M. Dailey, formerly Operations and Levitt Center for University Advancement (LCUA) Events Manager, is now Director, Facilities, LCUA Events and Distribution Services.

-- Della L. McGrath is now Director, Special Assignments. Her former position was Director, Support Services, Operations and Project Management.

-- David L. Triplett, formerly Director of Development, College of Dentistry, has become Associate Director, Gift Planning.
