UI Cancer Center offers support program for cancer patients
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- With the New Year comes the anticipation and promise
of change. The University of Iowa Cancer Center will host a Cancer Support
Group, inviting all patients with cancer and family members to participate
in a discussion of dreams for the future and reflections of the past.
The program will be Wednesday, Jan. 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Clinical
Cancer Center waiting area in the Pappajohn Pavilion of the UI Hospitals and
Clinics. The area can be located by taking Elevator "J" to the fourth
Refreshments will be served. Participants are welcome to share their thoughts
on the new century and recall accomplishments of the previous year. For more
