UI Graduate Student Senate seeks students to present research at forum
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa graduate students and undergraduates
in the Honors Program are invited to submit proposals for research to be displayed
and presented at the second annual Graduate Research Forum. The deadline for
submissions is March 1 and the forum, sponsored by the UI Graduate Student
Senate, will be held April 12.
At the forum, student work will be showcased through panel presentations,
poster displays, art exhibits, film screenings and performances of dance,
music and theater. Students may submit work in the following categories: fine
arts and performing arts; humanities; social sciences; physical and mathematical
sciences and engineering; and life sciences.
This year's forum coincides with the centennial of the UI Graduate College,
which is providing $6,000 in prizes for outstanding entries in each field.
UISG is also supporting this event.
