Riley joins UI Family Care

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Leslie A. Riley, M.D., who specializes in providing primary care services for women, has joined the University of Iowa Family Care network of primary care clinicians.

Riley, a board-certified specialist in internal medicine, has been in private practice since 1991. She practiced in Dubuque and Cedar Rapids until 1997, when she founded Primary Care for Women in Iowa City.

Riley received her medical degree from the University of Missouri and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Her professional memberships include the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, the American Medical Women's Association, the American College of Women's Health Physicians and the National Association of Professionals in Women's Health.

"Dr. Riley is an outstanding physician with a commitment to the Iowa City community," said Terry Protextor, who manages the UI Family Care network of clinics. "We are very pleased to welcome her to UI Family Care."

Riley's practice will remain located at 2346 Mormon Trek Boulevard. She will continue to see existing patients as well as accept new patients.
