Workplace issues to be discussed on WSUI/KSUI's Labor Center Forum

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Three union activists will discuss vital issues in the workplace on the next Labor Center Forum May 29-30 on WSUI/KSUI.

The Labor Center Forum, part of the University of Iowa Radio Forum series, takes on issues of concern to workers and their families. On this week’s program, co-host Laurence Clements, director of the UI Labor Center, talks with Stuart Dalton, a bakery worker at Sara Lee in New Hampton; Charlotte Inman of the United Steel Workers in Keokuk, who works for British Tire and Rubber; and Gary Jansen of United Auto Workers in Webster City, who works for Arrow Acme, an aluminum foundry.

Labor Center Forum airs Saturday, May 29 at 9 p.m., and Sunday, May 30 at 3:30 p.m. on WSUI-AM (910), and Sunday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. on KSUI-FM (91.7).
