Registration still open for Gifted Education in Rural Schools Conference

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Registration is still open for people interested in attending the inaugural Wallace Family National Conference on Gifted Education in Rural Schools Friday and Saturday, May 21-22 at the University of Iowa.

The conference will bring together leading researchers and advocates for gifted students in rural schools and highlight issues relevant to gifted education in rural schools throughout the nation.

A key feature of the event will be the presentation of a report titled "Gifted Education in Rural Schools: A National Assessment," which is being researched and produced by the Connie Belin and Jacqueline N. Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development. The Belin-Blank Center and the Institute for School Executives, both part of the UI College of Education, are co-hosting the event.
