Local UI student gains experience through internship

IOWA CITY, Iowa — (Name) of (hometown) gained work experience to combine with (his/her) educational experience during the 1999 spring semester with the assistance of Career Development Services at the University of Iowa.

(Name), a (class) majoring in (major), interned for (employer) as a (description of work). The internship was arranged through Career Development Services, the primary campus resource for UI students interested in obtaining work experience before they graduate.

With the approval of their academic department, most students are able to receive an official notification on their transcript in recognition of their internship.
