Media Advisory: Time change for Hanan Ashrawi press conference Feb. 2

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Due to a change in her travel schedule, Hanan Ashrawi, former Minister of Higher Education for the Palestinian National Authority, will be available to meet with the media Feb. 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the Terrace Room of the Iowa Memorial Union. This is immediately following her first lecture on campus, "Palestine and Human Rights," at 4 p.m. also in the IMU Terrace Room. Ashrawi's second lecture, "The Middle East Peace Process," will take place as originally scheduled at 7:30 p.m. in the IMU Main Lounge. Both lectures are free and open to the public and are sponsored by the University Lecture Committee.
