Women's Center offers 'stress-busters' workshop

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Is life's rush driving you crazy? Want to chill out for a couple of hours?

You can learn more about how to take care of yourself when you feel you're too busy to breathe by attending a special workshop, "Stress Busters: Everyday Acts for Hangin' In There," on Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the University of Iowa Women's Resource and Action Center, 130 N. Madison St., across from the Iowa Memorial Union.

The Women's Center is presenting the program as part of its "Everyday Acts of Sheroes" series. The 'Stress Busters' program features a presentation on relaxation techniques and ways to manage everyday stresses by Sarah Hansen from the UI Health Iowa office. There will also be door prizes, including free therapeutic massages, and healthful refreshments will be served.
