IOWA CITY, Iowa -- National Public Radio (NPR) host Linda Wertheimer kicks off the University of Iowa Lecture Series' lineup of guest speakers at a free and public lecture at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31 at the Second Floor Ballroom of the Iowa Memorial Union.
