UI Foundation announces staff promotions

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa Foundation has announced recent staff promotions. Executive staff (development officers and administrative officers): Carl Bendorf to director, planned and major giving; Thomas DePrenger, associate director, planned and major giving; Jana Egeland, associate director of development, intercollegiate athletics--women's; Andy Piro, director of development, intercollegiate athletics--endowment; and Tiffani Shaw, controller. Bendorf has also been appointed special assistant to the president for campaign planning.

Development services supervisory staff: Patty Anson to mail center/inventory services supervisor; Laurie Comstock, assistant to the president and administrative associate; Karen Cornell, administrative associate; Helen Dailey, operations and LCUA special events manager; Marlene Haman, administrative associate; Marianne Harney, support services manager; Scott Johnson, technical/research assistant and student supervisor; Bryan Ringen, network manager; Kelli Roskopf, application development manager; Judy Stebral, human resources manager; and Deborah Woods, planned and major giving/finance support manager.

Other staff promoted: Nancy Bandy, Amy Bowen, Twila Dusterhoff, Judy Glau, Stephanie Hamilton, Lynne Humphreys, Mary Klein, Linda Scott, Marilyn Stagg, and Vicki Wear in administrative support; Andrea Cummings, Lucinda Hoskins, and Jodi Weber in document services; Danette Angerer and Reggie Morrow in communications/graphics; Missy Carlstrom in human resources; and Amy Furler and Marilyn Stahle in research and records.
