Interactive teleconference, "Who we are and how we grieve," offered in Iowa City

IOWA CITY, Iowa --Understanding the medical issues related to death and grieving is the focus of an upcoming interactive teleconference at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC).

The teleconference, "Who we are and how we grieve," will be held noon to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22. It can be viewed at Braley Conference Room in the Pomerantz Family Pavilion at UIHC, at Mercy Medical Plaza and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City.

The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration by Thursday, April 16, is recommended. Continuing education credits are available. For more information and to register, call Mercy on Call at (800) 358-2767 or 358-2767.

Sponsors for the teleconference are Iowa City Hospice, Inc., Mercy Hospital, the UI Cancer Center and the VA Medical Center.
