UI small business seminar offers orientation to financial software July 28 and Aug. 4

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Small business owners interested in learning more about a computer software designed to help them keep better track of their finances, inventory and other business records are invited to a two-day seminar on the "QuickBooks" system Tuesday, July 28 and Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the University of Iowa College of Business Administration.

The session, sponsored by the UI Small Business Development Center and the accounting firm of Clifton Gunderson, P.L.C., will be from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 28 and August 4 in Room C207 of the Pappajohn Business Administration. Registration costs $125 per person.

The sessions will provide a complete orientation to QuickBooks version 5.0, a program designed to help small business people organize their records.
