Casko becomes president of American Board of Orthodontics
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- John S. Casko, D.D.S, Ph.D., professor and head of
the department of orthodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry,
was installed as president of the American Board of Orthodontics at the
annual meeting of the American Association of Orthodontists in Dallas.
Casko received a doctor of dental surgery degree and a master's degree
in orthodontics from Georgetown University and a doctorate from the University
of Pittsburgh. In 1976 he was appointed professor and head of orthodontics
at the UI.
Casko is a fellow of the American College of Dentists and a member of
the Iowa Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Midwestern
Society of Orthodontists. He also is editor of Practical Reviews in Orthodontics
and also currently serves as president-elect of the Midwest component of
the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists.
