Director of UI job placement office to speak about launching or changing
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Looking for help navigating the path to a new job
or a career change? Dee Hurst, director of the University of Iowa Business
and Liberal Arts Placement Office, will offer practical advice for job
hunters at a special program Tuesday, April 21 at the Kamerick Art Building
on the University of Northern Iowa Campus in Cedar Falls.
Hurst's presentation, "The New Rules: Job Hunting and Career Changing,"
is co-sponsored by the placement office and the UI Alumni Association.
Hurst will discuss labor market trends, demographics, strategies, and resources
available to those who are entering the job market or trying to change
careers. The program begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
