Consultant leads business seminar on customer service at UI Oct.
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- An author and international business consultant who
specializes in managing quality will lead a half-day seminar Friday, Oct.
10 as part of the "Inc. Magazine Executive Seminar" series at
the University of Iowa.
Keith Bailey, a Sausalito, Calif.-based consultant, will lead "Keeping
the Human Connection: Quality Service in the Age of Technology" from
8 a.m. to noon in the Terrace Room of the Iowa Memorial Union. Registration
is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The registration fee is $99. For additional people from the same company,
the fee is $79 per person.
The seminar is presented by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center
and the Small Business Development Center of the UI College of Business
Administration with support from Hills Bank and Trust Co.
"Keeping the Human Connection" will address how managers can
maintain quality service for their customers in an age of email, voice
mail, and other rapid technological change.
