IOWA CITY, Iowa -- How sweet it is! Those who really want to know can find out by attending a demonstration on making maple syrup Saturday, March 15, at the Macbride Nature Recreation Center. The program is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the University of Iowa Division of Recreational Services.

Macbride Nature Recreation Area is located on County Road F-28 between North Liberty and Solon. For more information, contact Dave Conrads, Macbride environmental education coordinator, phone (319) 335-9289.
