IOWA CITY, Iowa -- A live video conference from Hong Kong to address the legal and business ramifications of their reversion to the People's Republic of China will be broadcast Tuesday, March 11 in Room S401 of the University of Iowa Pappajohn Business Administration Building from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

"Live from Hong Kong: The Fate and Future of Hong Kong in the Face of Repatriation" will feature Zhao Zhang, a partner in the international law office of Dorsey & Whitney LLP. He will speak over the UI's video conferencing facilities to an open forum. Dorsey & Whitney's Steve Dickinson will co-present at the UI's site.

Issues addressed may include what the future holds for international property rights in Hong Kong, how the management of joint ventures might change between U.S. and Hong Kong companies, and changes regarding immigration and emigration in Hong Kong.

He holds a bachelor's degree from the Institute of International Relations in Beijing and his legal degrees are from the China University of Politics and Law in Beijing and the University of Minnesota.
