IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Faculty and graduate teaching assistants interested in getting ideas on how to use technology in their teaching are invited to an open house on "Technology in Instruction" Wednesday, March 19 at the UI Main Library.

The session, which is free, will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Information Arcade on the first floor of the Main Library.

Open houses, co-sponsored by UI Libraries, the Center for Teaching, and Information Technology Services, are designed to teach faculty and graduate teaching assistants new ideas in using technology, based on the experience of UI faculty.

The March 19 session will be led by Robert Boynton, professor of political science, and Marlena Corcoran, assistant director of the UI Honors Program.
