Tickets will be available at the door for "Presidential Voices"

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- If you haven't got your free tickets yet for "Presidential Voices," a forum featuring four University of Iowa presidents, you can get them at the door of Hancher Auditorium on the day of the event, Sunday, Feb. 23. The Hancher Box Office will open at 1 p.m. that day. The event begins at 3 p.m.

"Presidential Voices" is a historic gathering of University of Iowa presidents to mark the university's 150th birthday. UI President Mary Sue Coleman will be joined by her three immediate predecessors: Willard L. (Sandy) Boyd, James O. Freedman, and Hunter Rawlings III. Boyd with lead off the forum with a talk titled "Education -- Iowa's Never-Ending Frontier." Rawlings will follow with a talk on "American Universities at the End of the 20th Century." Freedman will then speak about "The Future of Higher Education." Coleman will then respond to the comments of the other presidents. If time permits, the presidents will then take questions from the audience.

If you are unable to attend the event but want to listen the discussions, Radio Station WSUI (AM 910) will be broadcasting the event live.
